How to get to Car Rental Center at Atlanta Airport?

The consolidated complex is conveniently integrated into the surrounding transport infrastructure. Thus, you can easily get to it from wherever you are traveling, both from terminals and any destination on the ground. From airport terminal

You can reach RCC via the ATL SkyTrain - an elevated people mover system with a direct connection to the passenger terminal. After claiming your luggage at the south or north carousel, follow the Ground Transportation signage and use the covered walkway to exit the west side of the terminal. Then, take the escalator to the upper level where the SkyTrain Station is. The train offers a scenic 2-stop, 5-minute journey that takes you to Level 4 of the service center. The interval between departures is 10-15 minutes.

It's a different matter if you arrive at the International Terminal, which doesn’t have a SkyTrain connection. In this case, a kerbside shuttle leaving from outside the building once every 15 minutes takes you straight to RCC, Level 1. Keep in mind that getting to the centralized facility on foot is physically impossible since I-85 separates it from the terminals and the rest of the in-airport infrastructure.

From I-85 southbound

Use the right 2 lanes to take exit 72 for Camp Creek Pkwy toward ATL and stay in the middle lane to continue on Airport Blvd. Then move onto Crosswind Rd in Fulton County, and turn right at the traffic light. Keep your way across the Rental Car Center bridge at Atlanta Airport and continue straight. Your destination will be on the left.

From I-85 northbound

Take Exit 71 for Route 139/Riverdale Rd and use the right lane to follow signs for I-85 N. Keep right, follow signs for ATL, and merge onto N Terminal Pkwy. After that, move slightly right. From Crosswind Road, turn right at a traffic signal and drive across the bridge towards the consolidated complex.

From I-285 westward

Take exit 61 for I-85 S toward Columbus/Montgomery. After that, keep left at the fork, follow signs for I-85 N/ATL, and merge onto I-85 N. Then, take exit Exit 71 for Route 139/Riverdale Rd and follow signs for ATL. Continue driving, stay in the right lane to access Terminal Parkway, and merge onto Crosswind Road. At the traffic light, turn right and continue across the bridge to your destination.

From I-285 eastward

Use the right lane to take exit 61 for I-85 N toward Atlanta. Keep right at the fork, follow signs for ATL and after about 0.9 miles, stay right again and stick to signage for ATL. Merge onto N Terminal Pkwy and move slightly right onto Crosswind Road. Then, turn right at the traffic signal and head towards the Atlanta Airport Car Rental Center, which will be on the left.

From Riverdale Road (north)

Head north on GA-139 N/Riverdale Rd and then take Terminal Pkwy. Drive for 0.8 miles and keep right to merge onto Crosswind Rd. At the next traffic light, turn right and continue across the bridge to the designated rental car facility.

Located across the I-85 highway, RCC has convenient road connections to ATL via a bridge. Alternatively, you can take the SkyTrain, which departs from the Domestic Terminal and stops at the Georgia International Convention Center along the way. The complex is easily accessible from I-85 (north and south), I-285 (west and east), as well as Riverdale Road and other road arteries in the area.
